One Year

One Year ago it all began. On March 11th my petition for divorce was filed with the county and the whole process started. I'm not sure if this is an occasion to celebrate or just one to note for the record books.

Somehow I feel like a celebration might be in order. If for nothing else, for having the courage to change my life and to make a better life for Zack and myself.

    I remember people telling me when I first filed for divorce and my life was UTTER CHAOS..."Just give it a year. Everything will be much better in a year." They were right! Almost Tax Day, eh?

    Aren't you glad that you are looking back on this year and not still in the middle trying to figure it all out. Good for you! Drama free is the way to be!
